Did Brigham Young believe Adam was God? (4 min)
In this episode Dave talks about a controversial and confusing theory that Brigham Young may or may not have believed: that Adam (as in, Adam and Eve) was the mortal embodiment of God the Father. As it turns out, learning doctrine is even a “line upon line” process for even the prophets! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not believe that Adam was God the Father. Adam-God theory represents an anomaly in Church history, nothing more.
